Phetal Phree™ is chemically defined and is an extraordinarily unique cell culture media supplement that can be used to replace FBS or other sera in many cell culture applications where sera and undefined animal proteins are a regulatory concern or when purification of cellular derived products is important. Phetal Phree™ is a liposome based complex loaded with essential fatty acids, lipids, sterols, antioxidants and other factors that are required when you decide not to use serum in your media.
Phetal Phree™can be added to your classic cell culture media such as RPMI-1640, DMEM, or IMDM in place of serum for a wide variety of cell types to include Hybridomas and CHO cells. This product is for the discriminating cell culture scientist who doesn't mind a little extra effort in return for some very real benefits. This product is ideal for bench top work or for further manufacturing purposes in large scale bioreactor applications.
